Now with the newest anti-Christian movie bombing, why does Hollywood continue to make movies that bomb?

Anti Christian and anti military movies are almost guaranteed to get good ratings from the critics. It's fashionable now a days to bash those two institutions since for the most part the can't talk back in their defense. My custom is to see what the critics don't like then go and rent them or out right buy them. I haven't been disappointed yet. the media strives to put down anything that smacks of religion, especially Christianity, and any movie that portrays the American Fighting Man as anything other than a drugged out lazy killer. They seem to forget that those fighting men defend their very right to ditz them. Does this sound familiar, "I may not agree with them but I will give up my life to preserve their right to say it?" The only Vietnam movie I can stomach is "We Were Soldiers". Okay my answer is not exactly what anyone wants to hear but there it is, I defended the right of the hippies to do what they did and now my son is defending the right of people now a days to make movies about Abu Grahb.
