My granddaughter points at something all the time lately and it scares her,but no one else can see anything.?

This may sound weird, but probably not as weird as ghosts!, But watching alot of medical shows has has givin me the thought that maybe she has "floaters" in her eyes. like worm type things that just float across the eye. she might think it is something in front of her, but it's actually something in her. I'd get her eyes checked just in case. Otherwise, seeing spirits is pretty gifted stuff!! :)
