Would you consider Neil Gaiman's books college level?

I need a college level book that I can read for my english summer work. I've already read American Gods and I'm looking for something else by him. If not, could you suggest some other book I could read? I prefer fantasy, romance, tales of sucess or triump and other good stuff. I don't like gory stuff too much, nor do I wish to get depressed over the summer.
