How does Christianity work?

I am in no way attempting to slander any person for any given believe. My purposes in asking this question are purely and strictly set on the grounds of a desire to expand my knowledge of another thinking being's thoughts and the way in which they live their life. That being said, whoever turned my last question related to this in and got it, please understand this. I think it was a simple misunderstanding.
