Think about it, she's one and a half, what do all kids love at this age? Bright colours and lots of different textures, so a soft toy or a book(age apropriate) would be perfect. Look on line for book reviews of good books for this age, or ask the babies mum what she likes to watch on tv and maybe get her one of her favourate characters.
